Calibre is an online marketplace for buying and selling authenticated luxury watches. Every watch sold on Calibre travels through an authentication center, where it is physically inspected against its listing — movement, dial, case, bracelet, and papers — before it ships to the buyer; a watch that fails is never delivered and the buyer is refunded in full. Selling costs one commission, taken only when the watch sells: private sellers pay 6% and keep 94%, verified dealers pay 4% and keep 96%, and every sale carries a $250 minimum commission. There is no buyer premium, no listing fee, and no monthly fee. Paying by card costs 2.9% + $0.30, exactly what it costs Calibre to accept the card; paying by wire costs nothing.

2. Calibre reviews the listing for completeness, clarity, and accuracy before it goes live.
3. The listing goes live on the marketplace for buyers to browse and purchase.
4. The buyer checks out through Calibre, seeing every cost before confirming.
5. The seller ships the watch to the authentication center with Calibre's shipping steps.
6. The watch is reviewed against the listing — model, reference, condition, configuration, and included accessories.
7. The payout releases here for a listing that does not accept returns — as soon as authentication passes, before the buyer has the watch. A listing that accepts returns pays out later, when the return window closes.
8. The authenticated watch ships to the buyer for final delivery, with a direct signature required and insurance for the full sale price.
